With the binder laths, the tabletop can be placed on top of the uprights as a cover. Attach the binder laths to the uprights first. Then attach the tabletop to the binder laths with screws. The support laths on the bottom surface of the tabletop must be removed before attaching the tabletop on the binder laths.
