An end upright can only be used at the end of a shelf. The front side of an end upright is 36 mm wide, and 29-mm support pins are used. As an exception, 100 cm high doors cannot be used in 218-cm uprights, as no shelf can be placed on the top of the door because of the crosspiece on the upright.
